While the light cardboard packaging of the Ohh La La Flower Vibrator is quite simple, I appreciated the ‘How to use’ instructions listed clearly on the back of the box. The seven key features of the vibrator labelled on one of the sides, and a cheeky caption included on the other.

The contents of the light cardboard box included a plastic insert containing the vibrator, a tiny leaflet ‘welcoming’ you to the So Divine product range and providing advice on how to clean the product, and a charger.

Now, I love this charger, and let me tell you why. Firstly, unlike most vibrator chargers it has a USB adapter. As I’ve been traveling for several weeks, finding the right adaptor for each of my electronic devices is a pain in the a-hole. The USB allowed me to charge the vibrator off my laptop, making my life just that little bit easier.

Secondly, rather than a connection plugging directly into the vibrator, the charger connects via a small strongly magnetised disc. Genius! This is important for a klutz like me, as I don’t need to worry about the vibrator flying across the room if I knock the charging cord. Instead, it discreetly and easily disconnects from its magnetised disc.

Design

Some may find the Ooh La La’s feminine design too whimsical, but I love me a pretty vibrator. The rigid design is encased in a gorgeously soft silicone, which is latex and phthalate free.

The flower shaped head of the Ooh La La is reminiscent of a tulip with its tapered tip emerging through two folds either side; I find it quite adorable.

Once plugged in, the Ooh La La took a couple of hours to fully charge: the discrete power LED blinking during the process. When it’s ready to go, the power LED remains on; another handy feature of this vibrator.

One button near the base of the vibrator controls the power on and off, as well as the various speeds and many pulsation settings. I found this convenient when using the Ooh La La Flower Vibrator as I can focus on the job at hand, rather than fiddling around with multiple buttons.

The only downside of a device with one button control is that you can’t return to a previous setting easily. If I like a setting and I accidentally click out of it, I then have to jump through the other 9 other settings to get back to it. This would really kill my vibe (pun intended).

The power LED indicator also reflects the speed or pulsation the vibrator is set to. When it is on low speed it’s dimly lit, on a high speed brightly lit, and the light keeps in time with the tempo on the vibrations as you buzz through each of the varying pulsations. Clever.

Nearly all sex toy companies claim their vibrators are ‘whisper quiet’ for discreet use, and while the Ooh La La is relatively quiet, it’s definitely not as ‘ultra quiet’ as it claims to be. I recommend having the T.V. on in the background to drown out the hum if you’ve got thin walls.

Pulse Play

As the Ooh La La is waterproof I tested out vaginal stimulation in the shower. As I had the assistance of the water, plus was naturally well lubricated at the time, I didn’t feel the need to use a lubricant (although I would generally recommend using lube anytime you insert a toy into your vagina, even if it’s on the smaller end of the scale).

While the Ooh La La Vibrator is compact at 7 inches in length, and 4.7 inches wide its little motor is nothing short of punchy.

The vibrations are surprisingly strong, and when I slid it in my pussy I felt as though my whole pelvic region was buzzing. As I angled it towards my G-spot, I found it too much for me to take, even on the lowest setting. When I moved it around inside me towards my A-spot, it felt as though my sphincter was going to buzz right off my butt.

Good Vibes

One of the features labeling on the packaging is that the Ooh La La will last up to two hours. I can confirm this is accurate: I used it many times and it still didn’t need to recharge!

Below, I have done a breakdown of each of the speed settings and pulsations with my feedback on how my pussy responded to each of them.

1. Low Speed

This is a speed I can really get down with. Slow and steady wins the race, or at least it does in terms of giving me a satisfying orgasm without feeling like my clitoris is being trilled/pounded off my vulva.

I found the Ooh La La’s Tulip-tapered tip easy to angle to the right spot on my clit, and more enjoyable than the standard rounded tip of most vibrators.
