Every so often I’m lucky enough to have someone ask me to write something for them. Most recently this request came from Megan and Tanya, the babes from Take Back Your SEX, who asked me to contribute a post to their awesome website.

Take Back Your SEX began as an Instagram account, and when it was unfairly banned from its social media platform, Tanya realised there was sex positive void in society that she wanted to address. TBYS has now grown into a full services sex blog with a team of sexperts and guest writers, exploring everything from swinging, sexual exploration, stories from those who work in the sex industry, sex and body positivity, LGBTQ and gender issues.

In line with the sex positive vibe of the site, I decided to write about a bit my journey to loving my sexual self and the way in which my body responds to sexual pleasure; squirting.

As you may have read in some of my previous posts on my first experiences with female ejaculation, it’s taken years for me to come to terms with the fact that having orgasmic sex involve an expulsion of fluid. That’s just how the way my body responds to sexual pleasure and it’s both normal and natural.

I wish I could go back to my younger self and save her the wasted years of feeling self-conscious and abnormal, and of being too scared to let herself relax during sex in case she wet the sheets.

I’ve thankfully now got to the point in my sexual journey where after years of feeling self-conscious and being at war with my vagina, I now see my squirting ability as a blessing rather than a curse.
